Who's ready for Indoor??

Wilcox JOAD Archery Club of Newport News, VA is hosting an USA Archery Sanctioned Event on Saturday, 10/22/22 at 9:00 a.m., or 1:00 p.m. There will be a maximum of 18-archers per shooting time. Additional shoot times may be added if initial timeslots fill up. This will be a USA Archery sanctioned 60-arrow, 18m indoor tournament. Archers will have a choice between a single spot or vertical 3-spot 40cm target face. Outer/Inner 10 scoring will be used for Recurve/compound accordingly. All targets will be at 18m distance.

Lane assignments and targets will be assigned based on class and division.  No requests for lanes or positions will be allowed. Once lane assignments have been made, no changes will be allowed. 

• 9am Shooting Time: Check in and equipment inspection at 8:30pm. 2-Practice Ends begin promptly at 9:00am with scoring ends begin promptly afterward.
• 1pm Shooting time: Check in and equipment inspection at 12:30pm. 2-Practice Ends begin promptly at 1:00pm with scoring ends begin promptly afterward.

Scorecards must be turned in as soon as possible after finishing round. All archers must sign their respective scorecards. All archers must turn in scorecards as a group, once all scores are tabulated and agreed upon. Shooter copies will be returned during awards ceremony. Please do not ask for copies or scores until all cards are completed. Only one bale at a time at score check in table.  Awards will be presented on Sat, 10/22/22, after the last shooting line is completed. If you are not present, awards will be mailed to the registered individual. 

World Archery Rules will be strictly observed for competitors in all divisions. All participants must follow the USA Archery Dress Code. All competitors must be members of USA Archery. 

There will be no On-Site registration!

Refunds will be $30 in order to cover processing fees and will be processed at conclusion of the event and a refund check will be mailed to the registered individual once original payment is confirmed.

There will be a designated spectators and coach’s area that will be enforced.  Due to space limitations, Spectator spots are first come first serve and no coaches or spectators will be allowed to enter the shooting range once a shooting time has started. 

No smoking, vaping, or tobacco products allowed outside of personal vehicles and designated smoking areas.

No pets! Service animals meeting ADA guidelines are welcome.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Absolutely NO outside food will be allowed.
