USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Online Course

*USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is NOT a prerequisite for this course.

This course is for new Level 2 Instructors and is NOT for RENEWAL.

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course provides graduates the necessary tools to serve as the lead instructor for long-term archery programs such as Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program clubs, and the Explore Archery Program. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course.

The USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course includes the USA Archery Level 1 Instructor online certification course information and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, athlete development and events. This online courses is self-paced and will take approximately 4 hours to complete.

Prior to registering for the course, instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, current USA Archery Background Screen, and a current USA Archery or National Field Archery Association membership.

LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Full Adult Membership(USAA or NFAA required)
• Submit a USA Archery Background Screen through your account($35 for domestic/$205 for most international)
  
• Complete the Free Center for SafeSport Training through your account
  
• Register for and Complete the Online Course - Cost $50 (plus sales tax as applicable by state)
• Practical Course Length: 8 Hours
• Practical Course Cost: Varies depending on Instruction
• Certification Period: Three years from the date of the course completion

To Complete Registration:

• go to https://usarchery.sport80.com/login
• Create a full adult membership account($65/year) if you do not already have one

• Submit a USA Archery Background Screen(note this will take 3-7 days to clear)
• While logged in, select “Members” and then click anywhere on your profile box.
• Click “Background Screening” on the secondary column below your name and Profile
• Follow the Prompts to “Add Background Screening”

• Complete the free Center for SafeSport Training
• The Center for SafeSport Training is the tab below Background Screening
  
• Click that to follow the prompts on the page to complete the Center for SafeSport Training.
• If you have completed the SafeSport Training for another sport, email [email protected].

• While logged in, click "Courses" on the left
• In the course search, type in 38357 and search for that event
• Select “Enter” and then “Next”
• Click "Add New Entry”
• Select Add to the right of your name
• Follow the prompts to check out
• Click “Next” on the bottom right of this page
  
• Click "Add New Entry” on the next page
  
• Select "Add" to the right of your name
• Follow the prompts to check out
• You will see "Complete" next to your name when registration is done

After that you will access the course and will need to complete the online course prior to the practical course. Determine if you are in the full screen view or minimized mobile view. If you are in the full screen view, you will see a column of options on the left. If your screen is minimize, on a tablet or mobile device you will see the mobile view.

• Click “Members” top left
• Click anywhere on your member box that pops up to the right.
• Scroll down the secondary column under your name and select "Access USA Archery Education Hub”
• This will take you directly to the course.

• Click "View" on your member box
• Click "Profile" at the top
• Scroll down the secondary menu on the left and select “Access USA Archery Education Hub”
• The course is self-paced, you can start, stop and continue where you left off anytime.
• To access the course again, login to your account at https://usarchery.sport80.com/login, and follow the instructions above.

Please note that once you complete the online course, you will need to register for the Practical Course. To find a practical course, please search the USA Archery Practical Course Locator or search our Coach Locator by Type - Instructor Trainer. You can contact current certified Instructor Trainers and request a practical.

Refund Policy

Refunds requested prior to the start of the course will be provided for the registration fee minus any Stripe Processing fees. Refunds will not be provided after a course has been started.
