Level 2 Instructor Practical Course

USA Archery Level 2 Practical Course

Students who  have passed the Level 2 Instructor Certification online course may register for this Level 2 Instructor Certification Practical Course.

The Level 2 Instructor Course graduates will be familiar with:

·        Range set up and safety

·        Basic equipment maintenance, repair, and distribution

·        Teaching the first archery class and try archery

·        Steps of the shot cycle - Recurve

·        Basic coaching techniques

·        Outfitting an archer with equipment & accessories

·        Teaching the National Training System - Compound

·        Advanced coaching techniques

·        How to teach an archery class

·        Equipment inspection and repair

PREREQUISITES & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

·        Minimum Age: 18

·        Membership to USA Archery*

·        U.S. Center for SafeSport Training

·        USA Archery Background Screening (Please note: you will not be able to register for the Level 2 course until the screening has been cleared by NCSI. Screenings typically take about 7-10 business days.)

*A Temporary, Recreational, and/or Youth Membership option will not satisfy the membership requirement.

 

Course Length

L2 – 8 hours 9am – 5pm (1 hour lunch break)

 

Course Fee

L2 - $150.00 (USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is NOT a prerequisite for the L2 course) 

Costs cover course training supplies, equipment, and some light snacks will be available. Lunch will not be provided.
