Level 2 INWC Scouting America

USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification Practical is an in-person course and is only taken after successfully completing the USA Archery Online Level 2 Instructor Training. 

Scout Leaders have priority for this course is for Scouting America Leaders interested in Teaching and/or Range-master for Scouts.  Equipment will be provided.

Non-Scouter may sign up on a waiting list (there will be a good chance that space will be available). Please bring your own equipment.  If you need archery equipment, please let me know in advance.

The USA Archery Instructor Practical is designed to enable the Level 2 Instructor candidate to demonstrate those archery skills required to be a Certified Level 1 and Level 2 Instructor.  Candidates will be required to demonstrate:

Level 1 Skills

·         Practical application of Range Safety (indoor and outdoor)

·         Ability to safely shoot a bow and arrow

·         Capable to teach basic archery skills

·         Ability to give direct feedback

Level 2 Skills

·         Ability to outfit an archer with equipment and accessories

·         Demonstrate and explain the National Training System Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound

·         Knowledge of equipment setup and accessories

Pre-registration is a requirement.

 

Course Cost: (Does not cover other costs associated with membership fees and pre-course requirements).

Payment will be due at training.

Scout Leaders: $20

Non-Scout Leaders: $100
