When the USA Archery ONLINE COURSE is complete, register for this PRACTICAL class. 

These steps are necessary for USA Archery to confirm membership and that you have cleared the background check and SafeSport before starting your certification process. Your USA Archery registration for this practical course ensures that you have passed the online portion first.

The USA Archery Level 1 & 2 Instructor Certification courses provides graduates the necessary tools to serve as the lead instructor for long-term archery programs such as Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program clubs, and the Explore Archery Program. To successfully complete the requirements for this certification, students must successfully pass the USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Certification online course, including the online exam and register for and complete the "in-person" USA Archery Level 2 Instructor practical course.

Instructors must have current U.S. Center for SafeSport training, current USA Archery Background Screen, and a current USA Archery or National Field Archery Association membership.

*USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Certification is NOT a prerequisite for the L2 course.

Lynda Whitehead is an experienced coach trainer who has certified hundreds of instructors and coaches. Lynda's venue, X10 Archery, is an established archery range and academy where you will have the opportunity to learn much more about coaching and the archery world than is on the curriculum. You will have access to the range and pro-shop, plus Lynda's knowledge of and experience in running archery programs. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the ATA backed Success Program that Lynda offers to pro-shops.
