USA Archery Presents Stellar Lineup for 2022 World University Games

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The 2022 World University Games will be contested in Chengdu, China June 26-July 7. This prestigious multi-sport event, known also as the FISU Summer Games features 18 sports, including target archery.

After an impressive showing in the U.S. Team Trials, held alongside qualification for the 2022 Arizona Cup, USA Archery is proud to field a strong roster of talent for the Games.

Recurve Men:

  • Trenton Cowles (Texas A&M University)
  • Gabe Anderson (University of Washington)
  • Joonsuh Oh (Michigan State University)
  • Alternate: Alex Gilliam (Texas A&M University)

Recurve Women:

  • Isabella Frederick (Seattle University)
  • Molly Nugent (Mesa Community College)
  • Natalie Howell (University of Southern Maine)
  • Alternate: Abigail Rutledge (Texas A&M University)

Compound Men: 

  • Cooper French (University of Arizona)
  • Matthew Russel(University of Pikeville)
  • Connor Sears (Texas A&M University)
  • Alternate: Aaron Adams (University of the Cumberlands)

 Compound Women:

  • Sachiko Keane(Columbia University)
  • Madison Cox (University of the Cumberlands)
  • Alyssa Tenney (University of Pikeville)
  • Alternate: Olivia Hay (University of Pikeville)
