Registration is open for the 2025 Collegiate Target Nationals, which return to Michigan

LANSING, Mich. – For the first time since 2016, Michigan State University – in partnership with the Lansing Sports Commission – is hosting the HotelPlanner USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals, and registration is now open for the event which runs from May 15-18.

The previous two years, Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. has hosted the best student archers in the country. This year’s event will be held at Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, which is one of Michigan’s premier outdoor sports facilities.

A venue which boasts around 10 acres of sports field space, it has housed a wide variety of disciplines and occasions, including flag football, lacrosse, soccer, hot air balloons, youth baseball, softball, ultimate and even Quidditch!

• Early registration fees for competitors runs through April 24, with the registration deadline being May 1. Coach credential registration closes on May 8.
• Each registered competitor and registered coach will receive one ticket to the Thursday Social, which will take place immediately following the opening ceremony.
• In addition to event awards, results from the 2025 USA Archery HotelPlanner Collegiate Target Nationals will be used to determine All-Around Archer of the Year Awards, All-American Team, and National Team Championship.

Meanwhile, the 2025 World University Games U.S. Team Trials will be held in conjunction with the 2025 HotelPlanner USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals, as part of the 72-arrow qualification round. The World University Games take place in Germany from July 16-27.

Athletes who want to participate in the U.S. Team Trials must agree to the Intent to Compete Form and add the additional $75 registration fee for 2025 World University Games U.S. Team Trials at the time of registration.

By definition, Barebow may register for Recurve trials, and Fixed Pins may register for Compound trials. However, the only categories for World University Games will be Recurve and Compound.

Travel to and participation costs in the 2025 World University Games are the responsibility of the athlete. View the Athlete Selection Procedures, which include the World University Games and other collegiate international events.
