Positions open on the Collegiate Archery Program and the JOAD Advisory Councils

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery is seeking nominations for positions on the Collegiate Archery Program and the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Advisory Councils.

Council members play a vital role and are responsible for making recommendations regarding programs and events to USA Archery staff. This is your chance to have a voice and present feedback from the archery communities regionally.

The South and East Representative and Athlete (South/East) positions are open for nomination on the Collegiate Advisory Council.

As a Collegiate Archery Program Advisory Council Representative, you will be asked to:

  • Advise USA Archery staff on Collegiate Archery Program related initiatives
  • Act as a resource to, and communicate with, colleges and universities within your region
  • Help to promote Collegiate Archery Program activities and events regionally

The South and East Representative seats, as well as the Athlete Representative for the South-East are open for nomination on the JOAD Advisory Council.

As a JOAD Advisory Council Representative, you will be asked to:

  • Advise USA Archery staff on youth club and event related initiatives
  • Act as a resource to, and communicate with, clubs, state associations and state JOAD coordinators within your region
  • Review USA Archery JOAD Award nominations as warranted

Once nominations are received, USA Archery will distribute nominee information to USA Archery clubs for vote in their respective regions. All nominations are due November 1, 2024.
