HOUSTON, TX – USA Archery is pleased to invite you to the 2019 National Symposium for coaches, club leaders, and athletes. The Symposium will be held at the Hyatt Regency Houston Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX on October 18-20, 2019.
The National Symposium is an evolution of the Coach Symposium and offers the same great information and learning opportunities as before, but now targets club leaders and athletes in addition to coaches. Space is limited and you will not want to miss out on this chance to invest in yourself for the benefit of your coaching, leading, and understanding of the sport.
USA Archery Education and Training Manager, Guy Krueger explains, “Each year we aim to take the symposium to the next level. This year we felt it was time to intentionally create opportunities to help club leaders and athletes in addition to the great service we always provide our coaches.”
Registration will open Wednesday, April 17th for all current USA Archery members, including but not limited to athletes, instructors, coaches and club leaders.
The Symposium provides information, education and training from leading experts in a variety of coaching, leadership, and archery related fields that will benefit anyone with a passionate interest in the sport.
Chris Webster, Hoyt Archery R&D commented on his experience from last year’s Symposium: “From competing to coaching and everything in-between. The coach symposium is for everyone who wants to learn from the world’s leading coaches and experts in their field. I have personally used the insight I received from this course to improve products, shot execution and coaching technique. The USA Archery symposium is a great experience for anyone who enjoys learning and archery.”
