Among the highlights, Jin Kang claimed gold in the U18 recurve men, defeating national champion Chanyoung Mun courtesy of a one arrow shootoff.

Barry Parrish missed out on a second gold in the U13 barebow men, losing a shootoff to Brantley Lacheki.

Liam Lee avoided a similar fate, as he was closest to the middle with his arrow in a shootoff involving Elliot Choi in the U15 recurve men.

The same went for Yeshaswini Tati as she held her nerve to deny Lin Chun Yi of Chinese Taipei, while Jack Moorhouse defeated his identical twin Andrew in the semifinals of the U13 fixed pins men before needing a one arrow shootoff to see off James Waldren.

Caleb Chang was dominant in the U13 recurve men, overpowering Aiden Kim 7-1 to win gold. A perfect score of 30 on the fifth end ensured Noah McIntyre snatched a second gold in the U13 compound men, defeating Keegan Grissom 148-147.

Francesca Benavidez set a new world’s best at U18 and U21 level in the barebow women to become a national champion. She was rarely ruffled on her way to gold in the elimination rounds.

Makayla Miller fought back strongly in the U13 fixed pins women, firing 29 in the fifth end to sneak past Georgia Glitsos 134-133.

The 2023 USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals draw to a close on Sunday with the team rounds.
