Celebrate Olympic & Paralympic Day with USA Archery!

Today is the first official Olympic & Paralympic Day Presented by Toyota! Held annually on June 23^rd and known previously as Olympic Day, this day celebrates fitness, well-being, sport culture and educational opportunities while promoting the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect, and the Paralympic values of determination, inspiration, courage and equality.

Here are five ways you can join the celebration with USA Archery!

1. Become a Member - From grassroots to gold medals, USA Archery is committed to providing equal sports and recreation opportunities to every person of all ages, genders and abilities. With member support, USA Archery is a leader in coach certification and athlete safety, resulting in strong athlete participation, competition and training in the sport of archery. Membership dues help us grow archery across the nation, and put Team USA archers on top of podiums on the world stage.
2. Find a Club or Find a Coach - USA Archery has hundreds of club programs across the nation for youth, adult and collegiate archers. Certified coaches provide safe, fun, quality instruction for archers of all ages and abilities. Make friendships to last a lifetime with your teammates while you pursue your archery dreams, whether that’s to get fit, stay active, grow your skills, or to become an Olympic, Paralympic or World Champion.
3. Get Involved in Para Archery - Archery is a sport that is open to everyone; athletes with physical or cognitive impairments, who may otherwise be dissuaded from participating in sports can participate in archery alongside athletes without any disability. Simple adaptations to archery programs can break the stigma associated with disabilities and remove the barriers to conversations and interactions among groups of people who might otherwise be separated. USA Archery’s free online resources include the Adaptive Archery Manual and the Adaptive Video Series.

5. Donate - Archery is our sport. Unlike most every other country we compete against, USA Archery receives no government funding.
