Newberry, FL - The Easton Foundations and the Easton Newberry Sports Complex, together with USA Archery, are pleased to announce the free use of their facility (Newberry, Florida, winter of 2011-2012*) to all those who have been successful in making the first stage (Shadow Team - Top 16 Men/Top 16 Women) of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - First Nomination Shoot.
Easton Foundations programs attempt to promote and develop Olympic-style archery and aid athletes in reaching their goals of becoming the next Olympic Champion.
The Easton Newberry Sports Complex houses one of the best archery facilities in the country, as well as some of the best resources available to both archers and their coaches. During winter, weather in Florida is mild and perfect for athletes who are looking to shoot outdoors, in preparation for the second and third Nomination Shoots of the Olympic Team Trials.
Athletes and their coaches will have access to:
-Fully air conditioned indoor archery range ** (up to 25 meters)
-Outdoor undercover shooting range (fully powered and lit for night training sessions)
-Access to Slo-motion capture, Dartfish software, and a range of bio-feedback tools
-Access to Easton Newberry's High Performance equipment store ***
-Access to Easton Newberry's bow maintenance area
-Fitness course
