The USAA Nominating and Governance Committee has submitted their slate of candidates to USA Archery for the 2010 USAA BOD Election. The applicants must now pass a background check prior to USAA releasing the names of these candidates. All applicants continue to be viable candidates until the background checking process is complete. Background checking can take up to two weeks to execute after submission. At this point, all applicants have submitted their background information to be checked. The USOC is beginning to get the results back and believe that this process should be complete by the end of November.
Upon the finalization of these candidates' background checks, the ballots will be mailed to the membership, along with the candidate's statements.

Also, please note that the USOC Audit group will be executing the ballot collection and vote counting.
