CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Audrey Tyrrell has joined the USA Archery staff as the organization's National Teams Manager, based out of the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Tyrrell has been working there as an Operations Coordinator for the US Olympic Committee since 2006, and is transitioning to USA Archery's National Teams Manager position, in which she will work with the High Performance staff.
Assistant Head Coach Guy Krueger welcomes the Johnson and Wales University graduate, saying: "we are excited to bring Audrey on board as the National Teams Manager. Audrey's experience in team management and logistics, familiarity with archery programs, and along her experience with the US Olympic Committee and Olympic Training Center make her a very natural fit for our organization."
Tyrrell will work to organize athlete training camps, manage the Cadet, Jr., Sr., and Para US Archery Team rankings, and National Ranking System, coordinate clean sport programs, and ensure consistent communication among traveling teams. Tyrrell will also be an asset in coordinating team travel and logistics.
"I am really excited to be a part of such a great team of athletes and staff," Tyrrell says about her new responsibilities. "I am looking forward to helping everyone perform their best."
