USA Archery Celebrates Achievement Award Winners

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - As archers around the country are gearing up for Virtual Tournaments, State Championships and Indoor Nationals, we are seeing archers push themselves to reach their goals and improve on the target. USA Archery is proud to congratulate the outstanding achievements of our archers who have posted incredibly impressive scores in recent months to earn their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards!

The awards are part of USA Archery's Achievement Award Programs, which provide achievement award pins for progressive scoring achievements, and encourage youth and adult archers to set and achieve goals in the sport of archery.

For archers participating in the JOAD Achievement Award Program, in addition to a certificate and pin, Bronze JOAD Olympian awards are recognized with a backpack, Silver JOAD Olympian awards are recognized with a lightweight jacket, and Gold JOAD Olympian awards are recognized with a belt buckle. Archers in the Adult Achievement Award Program also receive pins and certificates.

Paralympian Michael Lukow of the Army World Class Athlete Program earned his gold achievement award and shared the benefits of the program for all participants, regardless of age or ability. He commented: "I am very happy to receive the gold achievement from the adult program. It shows the progress I've made over the years and is nice to show the young JOAD shooters that it is possible to shoot through the scores and be competitive with anyone out there. Hitting the gold pin is just the beginning though."

Archers aiming to shoot for these awards must be current youth, adult, or family members of USA Archery and part of a registered USA Archery JOAD or Adult club.

Congratulations to the following archers on earning their Gold, Silver and Bronze achievement awards!
