COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - The USA Archery Level 3-NTS Coach Certification Program, which serves a key role in the development of archery coaches who teach in USA Archery Clubs nationwide, has been updated to include improved course content, materials, videos, and new program branding.
While the course will still maintain its original purpose, it has been significantly enhanced, helping coaches to have a more comprehensive learning experience while taking the Level 3-NTS Coach Certification Course. The enhanced course will also better prepare coaches for the Level 4-NTS Coach Certification Course.
New course content includes:
The course will also include over 25 new instructional videos, which can be accessed using the USA Archery Mobile Coach website and APP: a free phone application for iOS and Android that allows current USA Archery coaches and instructors to view premium video content featured in the course materials. USA Archery Mobile Coach also provides access to the USA Archery coach locator, certification course schedule, event schedule, coach resources and online shop.
USA Archery has also developed a new Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer certification program. This additional free certification will help to ensure USA Archery Level 3-NTS Coach certification courses are taught in a safe and consistent manner. New course materials include chapter presentations and instructions for how to teach the Level 3-NTS Coach course. These updated course materials are now available for purchase at www.usarchery.org.

"The updated program materials contain insight from USA Archery's national coaching staff and experts in the field of Mental Management, Sports Psychology and more to ensure USA Archery coaches have access to best practices to achieve optimal success."

Level 3-NTS coaches have a huge impact on the development of talent and depth of archers and improving the quality of the course will directly impact our new Level 3-NTS Coaches and their athletes improving our depth of competitive archers. These new materials will also better prepare coaches for the Level 4-NTS Coach Course by significantly increasing their understanding of the National Training System and the art of coaching."
Updates to the Level 3-NTS Coach Certification Course were made possible with the generous support of Easton Foundations.
USA Archery, the National Field Archery Association and the Archery Shooters Association recognize coach certification under a joint certification program and all contributed to this effort. USA Archery administers the program on behalf of these organizations.
