USA Archery has announced its first-ever Leader Workshop, designed to help potential or current archery program leaders in establishing and growing their archery programs. Those involved with JOAD, Adult Archery Achievement, Scouting, 4-H or Parks and Recreation departments are strongly encouraged to participate.
Attendees can expect to receive comprehensive information on topics ranging from fundraising to promotion, tournament organization, program development, working with para-archers, next steps for archers, and preparing archers for competition.
The Leader Workshop will take place October 28-30, 2011 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. The fee for the Leader Workshop is $250, which includes registration, food, housing and airport shuttle. Space is limited; registration will be limited to 25; the Workshop needs a minimum of 20 participants in order to be conducted.
