USA Archery Accepting Bids for Outdoor National Events

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Archery is now accepting bids for the U.S. National Target Championships, U.S. Open and Easton JOAD Nationals for 2015 and 2016. 

Those interesting in bidding will bid on all three events in a single bid packet. The events are run during the same time period at the same venue: 

• U.S. National Target Championships - A World Archery International Round (single distance) for senior and masters participants
  
• U.S. Open - Exciting, fast-paced match play for senior and masters participants
  
• Easton JOAD Nationals - Age group competition including qualification and elimination rounds
• Additional activities during this time period, such as team rounds

The host venue and city must accommodate 500-700 athletes, 3500 room nights and a 5 day event. USA Archery is seeking a venue with plenty of space, and a host community with activities for competitors to do and see after competition is over for the day. Potential hosts should note that this event accommodates a wide age range of participants.
