The following message was sent to all currently registered participants of the 2017 Mathews Texas Shootout this morning:
Dear Texas Shootout Participants,
USA Archery has been deeply saddened to hear of the tragedies striking our Texas archery family during Hurricane Harvey. First and foremost, our hearts and our thoughts are with those affected by this storm.
We are monitoring the weather closely, but at this time, there is no plan to cancel the Mathews Texas Shootout, scheduled for September 22-24 at Veterans Park & Athletic Complex in College Station. We will let you know if there are any changes.
