COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Archery is excited to announce that registration is now open for 2016 U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championships! The event to be held May 19-22nd in Lansing, Michigan will be hosted by Michigan State University and the Greater Lansing Sports Authority.
There will be collegiate divisions for Barebow, Bowhunter, Compound, and Recurve. The format will include a double 70m/50m qualification round, and individual, team and mixed team elimination rounds.
Results from this competition will help determine the recipients of the prestigious All-American and National Team Championship awards.
The National Outdoor Collegiate Championships is a fun-filled event. Practice day kicks off with an opening ceremony and the parade of collegiate clubs. A welcome reception follows with a BBQ and outdoor activities to relieve post-finals stress before competition starts!
At the conclusion of shooting on the 22nd, to celebrate a year of incredible achievements, the event concludes with an awards banquet at the Lansing Causeway Bay Hotel and Conference Center, which will feature a DJ and dance party!
