On Friday, March 19th the USAA Board of Directors will be meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo. for the first meeting to include newly elected directors, Helen Sahi, Greg Easton, Cindy Bevilacqua and Linda Beck.
The meeting will be held at the Olympic Training Center. The draft agenda, along with the draft Code of Conduct, JOAD Nationals proposal and Springfield, MO letter of understanding has been posted on the website if anyone would like to review - Simply click here and look for the document to the right titled, "March 2010 Draft Agenda". Some of the major topics that will be discussed during this meeting include:
- Review of the 2009 Audit
- New Code of Conduct/Ethics
- Proposal from the JOAD Committee for a new format for JOAD Nationals
- Letter of Understanding with Springfield, MO
- Board Chair Vote
In addition, all directors will be sitting through an orientation by USOC consultant Kae Rader on effective non profit governance.
