Current USA Archery Judges are eligible to attend a Judge Certification Seminar scheduled for January 21-23, 2011 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Tom Green, Chair of the USAA Officials and Rules Committee, will be a featured lecturer. Sergio Font of Cuba, who is a member of the FITA Judge Committee and Chair of the COPARCO Judge Committee, is the Seminar Program Director and primary lecturer. This Seminar is approved as an International FITA Judge Upgrade and will be open to Continental Judges from the Americas as well as to those who wish to test for International Candidate status.
At the conclusion of the Seminar, tests will be available for U.S. Judges to move up to Regional or National status. Current National Judges will be strongly encouraged to become Coparco Candidates and Continental Judges will be encouraged to become International Candidates.
The number of spaces at the Olympic Training Center is limited to 30 and applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The course fee, which covers food and housing at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, is $200 for U.S. Judges to attend, and $300 for International Judges from the Americas.
