We look forward to working with Mary and stand ready to support her work and the outreach efforts of USA Archery."
"Thanks to support from the Archery Trade Association and Easton Foundations, USA Archery is now able to invest in the right person to direct our grassroots expansion," explains Denise Parker, USA Archery CEO. "Mary brings significant experience and a passion for archery to this critical role, which will help us to grow archery across the United States."

A Certified Park and Recreation Professional, Emmons is also a Hunter Education Instructor and Basic Archery Instructor Trainer Specialist, and serves on the National Archery in Schools Program Board of Directors, as well as the MSU Demmer Center Advisory Committee, and the AFWA's Hunting and Shooting Sports Participation Committee.
Roy Grimes, CEO of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®), commented: "I have been impressed with Mary's talent, work ethic, and passion for a job well done since I've known her. She will go down in NASP® history as one of the very best state administrators we've ever had. I know she is excited to find ways to help the millions of NASP graduates find their way ever-deeper into the archery world."
"There is a tremendous opportunity at this time to advance USA Archery's outreach and certification programs," Emmons notes. "I'm looking forward to developing and implementing a strategic plan that will place the organization on the path to grow quality grassroots programs, and inevitably increase the accessibility and visibility of archery nationwide."
Emmons is expected to join USA Archery in her new role beginning April 16.
