COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Archers: it's time to enjoy the fun and excitement of a national tournament without ever leaving your local archery club!
The 1st Quarter Indoor Mail-In Tournament began on January 15, and will run through March 31, 2015. Archers can enter the Mail-In Tournament individually and as part of the Team event.
The tournament is open to youth and adult archers who are members of registered Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD), Adult Archery Program and Collegiate Archery Program clubs.
There's also a Club Spirit competition as part of the Mail-In Tournament. Each quarter, USA Archery announces a new theme that gives clubs an excuse to hold fun shooting events and show their spirit.
To enter the 1ST Quarter Club Spirit competition, clubs participating in the Mail-In Tournament can hold a Valentine's Day-themed club event, and submit their photos to USA Archery.
The club that demonstrates the most Club Spirit, as judged by the USA Archery staff, will win a prize pack consisting of the Steps of Shooting poster and a package of assorted target faces. This prize pack is valued at over $100.
