USA Archery announced Tuesday that the Athlete Selection Procedures for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore are posted and pending final approval from the U.S. Olympic Committee Board of Directors.
To be eligible for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, archers must be citizens of the United States and hold a valid U.S. Passport. Also, athletes that are born between Jan. 1, 1992 and Dec. 31, 1993 are eligible to compete in the trials. All archers must also achieve a minimum qualifying score that is detailed in the procedures, which can be found by clicking here.
Only athletes that have achieved the minimum qualifying score by June 20, 2010, will be available to compete at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games Selection Shoot that will be held in conjunction at the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) National Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, June 24-27.
