JOAD Regional Summer Camps
There have been 3 Regional JOAD Summer Camps scheduled for the summer of 2010.
The first two camps will be held June 10 - 13, 2010 in two different locations. In the West Region, we will be offering a 3 day camp to be held at the Paseo Vista JOAD Archery Club with Elite Coach Dee Falks and in the North Region a 3 Day camp will be held at the MSU Demmer Facility with Elite Coach Linda Beck.
The last camp for 2010 will be held August 12 - 15, 2010 at the Easton Newberry Center in Newberry, Florida with Elite Coach Jim White and Regional Coach John Kristoff.
Each of these camps are designed for both Recurve and Compound Archers and will focus on teaching the necessary skills to become an elite JOAD athlete. This is a perfect camp for those JOAD Archers that are looking to learn the same skills that are being taught to our Jr. Dream Team Athletes. Archers will learn archery specific warm-up excercises that are "success oriented". Each athlete will be video taped to estabilish a "base-line". Video Critiqueing, Goal Setting, Group Rectification, SPT's (Specific Physical Training) as well as a Tournament Prep session is built into 3 full days. These camps promise to improve your technique and archery knowledge and is the perfect tool for those archers that are looking to take their archery skills to the next level.
All Camps will begin at 1pm on Thursday and will run till 1pm on Sunday afternoon. Athlete must be accompanied by an adult, as transportation and housing will NOT be furnished. Space is limited.
