Khatuna Lorig has the very rare designation of representing three different countries in the Olympic Games...Lorig represented the Unified Team of the former Soviet Union at the 1992 Olympic Games in
Barcelona, Spain where she won the bronze medal in the team competition...She competed for Georgia at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Ga., USA and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia...She will compete in her fourth Olympic Games in 2008 in Beijing, China where she will represent the United States of America...She just missed qualifying for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece for Georgia...Lorig is married to Archil Onashvili and the two have a son Levani Onashvili (15)...Khatuna and her husband hope to be competing together at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England...Khatuna's parents are Dilmani and Rusudani Kvrivishvili...Khatuna graduated from the Third Gymnasium High School in Tbilisi, Georgia on May 20, 1990...She went on to graduate from the Physical and Sport Institute in 1995 with a degree in Physical Education...She speaks Georgian, Russian and English...She enjoys listening to Rock and Roll and her favorite television show is Gene Simmons, Family Jewels.
