Ben Cleland
Ben Cleland is a 2009 Jr. USAT Member, competing in the Junior Male Compound Division. Cleland resides in Swanton, OH carrying on the family archery tradition. Ben is coached by his uncle Matt Cleland and began shooting archery at the age of nine when his father and uncle shot in a league. From that time Ben has found success on the archery scene. In 2008 he was the top finisher at the Outdoor JOAD Nationals and second place finisher at Outdoor Nationals. Building upon his success in 2008, the 2009 season has been a successful campaign in which Ben finished in the top three placings at Vegas(1), Indoor Nationals (2), Texas Shootout (3), and SI Cup (1). While competing at the World Team Trials in Conyers, GA, Cleland shot a 1401, a FITA Round Junior World Record. Cleland will look to continue his winning ways while competing at the 2009 Junior World Championships in Ogden, UT.
